SCOLOPI | European meeting of the Calasanz Movement

Budapest was chosen by the Calasanz Movement as the venue for its first European meeting of Calasanz Movement coordinators from the various European provinces. The Hungarian team put all their interest and good work into welcoming these 20 people, 2-3 from each European province.

Emmaus, Bethany, Catalonia and Hungary have shared their experiences of the years of development of the Calasanz Movement in their provinces, and new provinces such as Poland, Slovakia and Austria have also shared their first steps in this educational and evangelising adventure.

We emphasise the harmony and understanding, the depth of what we share and the creativity of the new paths we can take at an international level, consolidating in all our presences this proposal of life, spirituality and commitment in the Calasanctian style.

Our next meetings will be with young people:

• PYM 2024, which will take place next July in Váç, also in Hungary, and will be attended by 250 young people from our Movement in Europe.
• A Calasanctian pilgrimage for young leaders will take place near Calasanz on the same dates in Rome and Assisi,
